Spring Competition is a short, casual netball competition that takes place over October and November annually, following on from the traditional winter competition. It’s social and fun, with music and occasional activations from external providers.
Teams enter directly to FNA and are not Club-based, with entries of full teams encouraged. It will occasionally be possible to place individuals into teams, however it is not guaranteed. All teams are required to have a minimum of seven players registered to participate in the Spring Competition. A maximum of 12 players can be registered in any team.
Please note that, where it is not possible to create divisions of eight teams, alternative Competition and Finals formats may be applied to individual divisions at the discretion of the Association, to ensure an enjoyable competition.
Male players are eligible to participate in all divisions during Spring Competition. There are no restrictions on the number of boys registered or on-court participation in the Set, Go, 12 & Under and 14 & Under competitions. Teams in the 17 & Under and Open competitions may have up to three boys/men on court at any one time.
